Tour Route
The organisation has designed two tour routes to introduce the institute. Information boards are set up along the routes to introduce the layout and the value of the welfare centre, emphasizing the preserved architecture. Visitors can scan the QR code on the boards with their mobile phones to get more information.
Route 1
Go forward through the entrance gate and circle the main building
Focused Introduction
The architectural layout and the exterior features of the welfare centre (main entrance, Chinese-style hip-and-gable roof, chimney, colonnaded verandah), and architectural details (stone door frames and thresholds, lintels and window sills, wooden suspended ceilings, directional signs).
Route 2
Covered walkway → bungalow entrance → courtyard → living room A → garage
Focused Introduction
The courtyard, the Chinese-style pitched roof, and the internal architectural features of the welfare centre (fireplace, wooden roof structure).
