Sik Sik Yuen obtained this project under the fourth phase of the "Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme" under the Development Bureau. The project will revitalise the welfare centre into an ecological learning institute to raise public awareness of environmental conservation and promote the concept of sustainable development.
The Lady Ho Tung Welfare Centre Eco-Learn Institute opened in June 2023. With ecological learning as its main theme, it provides various kinds of environmental education activities for schools and the public. The centre's environment is suitable for students and the public of all ages. It has great indoor facilities and an outdoor garden to enrich the learning experience.

The centre organizes different ecological themed activities, and the participants include educational groups, charitable organizations and corporate collaborations across Hong Kong.
Public and theme activities:
Suitable for all age groups, classes such as ecological quick-check classes, ecological appreciation classes, workshops, tour guide training, etc are provided. The centre is also committed to promoting the history and culture of the Kwu Tung area. It holds special activities according to different festivals and invites experts to hold lectures.
